Hello and Happy Holidays from Honduras!
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. Although it’s not quite like home; there are still Christmas trees, decorations, lights in the park, and lots of parties. There are also lots of firecrackers, which is key part of Honduran Christmas. Luckily the a new church replaced the vacant lot in front of our house, so the neighbor kids have had to find a new spot to light of firecrackers. Its been much more peaceful this year.
I hope you enjoy the new pictures. At the rate we are going, there will probably only be one more update before we leave. Our last day in Peace Corps will be June 20. Then we will travel around Central America for a month, be back in the states the end of July, and hopefully in Colorado to finish and defend our Thesis the end of August. It’s weird to start thinking about the end.
Remember, we love to see pictures and hear from all of you too!
Thanks Kelly and Ben!

Pingo.com is the cheapest way to call although the service isn’t always perfect. It might just be our phone.
You can also try our cell phones– it’s the only way to leave a message and is cheap to text message.

At this point we are thinking more about getting rid of stuff than what we want, but the following things are always appreciated.
· Books · Magazines (other than Newsweek– we get that from PC) · DVDs– we can watch movies on our computer. TV series on DVD are great. · Any good snacks are always welcome– chocolates, nuts, granola bars, etc. · Spice packets– the premixed packets are great. · Coloring books and children books (in Spanish of course), or any kind of crafty thing for kids. |
